Bill Nye the science guy UFO expert according to CNN
| July 5, 2008 | |
Friday July 4th 2008, Larry King hosted a show titled “Are UFOs Real?“. To balance out the believers they had to of course have a disbeliever. Who did they grab for the chair? Bill Nye, yes the “Science Guy”. He tried real hard to discredit all evidence presented, often interrupting, jumping to conclusions before people had a chance to finish talking and was constantly demanding proof be given while it was being given, albeit orally or through photos or videos. *They* have stooped really low for this one. The science guy? Really? What makes them think anyone gives 2cents about his opinion on UFOs or extraterrestrial life, or that he’s a suitable expert in the field?
Yes the discussions by the other guests were interesting but the constant interruptions and conjecture spewed from Bill’s mouth was like clawing at a chalk board.
Tip to CNN, hire a better mouthpiece in the future.

It seemed like Larry put Bill in the position of trying to refute the History of UFOs. Bill attempted to break down the story of each UFO presenter. This was interesting to watch. You need to get over your concerns about interruptions and smirking (it is a debate, right?) Mr. Nye was brought to this debate because he understands the scientific process. To date, no one has presented any real evidence that we have been visited by Non-Earth based creatures. I have often been annoyed by the smug nature of the UFO believers so it is interesting that someone with an analytical approach would be the one labeled annoying in this debate.
